Privacy policy
Last updated 9 October 2026
This site is run by Man Patel, an individual trader. It collects as little as it can: only what you choose to send, plus the technical data any website receives.
Who is responsible
Man Patel. For anything about your data, email mptraderx.capital@gmail.com.
What is collected, and why
- Enquiries. When you use the enquiry form, your name, email address and message are emailed to me so I can reply. They aren’t stored on this website.
- Letters and notes. When you subscribe, your email address is sent to me and may be added to a mailing list held by my email provider, so I can send occasional letters and updates. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in any email, or by emailing me.
- Comments. Comments on posts run on Giscus, which uses GitHub Discussions. You sign in with GitHub to comment, and your comment is public. GitHub’s privacy policy applies to it.
- Technical data. The hosting provider processes your IP address and browser details to deliver the site and keep it secure. The enquiry and subscribe forms also use your IP address briefly to limit spam.
- Visits. Page views are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies or other storage on your device and doesn’t fingerprint visitors. For each view it records the page, the referring site, your country, browser, operating system and device type, and how quickly the page loaded. It doesn’t follow you across other websites.
What isn’t
No advertising and no tracking cookies. Your personal data is never sold.
Track-record figures are fetched from Darwinex’s public pages, and index data from FRED, by this site’s server; nothing about you is sent to either. If you follow a link to Darwinex or GitHub, their own privacy policies apply there.
Stored in your browser
If you switch between the light and dark theme, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so it’s remembered next time. It never leaves your device.
Service providers
- Cloudflare — hosts the site and its blog posts, registers its domain and counts visits.
- Resend — sends the form emails and holds the mailing list.
- Google — the inbox enquiries arrive in.
- GitHub — comments, through Giscus.
These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States.
How long it’s kept
Enquiries are kept as long as needed to reply and follow up, then deleted. Subscriber addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, or withdraw your consent to emails, by writing to mptraderx.capital@gmail.com. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
This site isn’t intended for anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published here with a new date.
